Alicia Armstrong's new body of work represents an adventurous departure from her previous series. Her new paintings, through a creative manipulation of materials and rare sensitivity to color and tone, are simultaneously abstract and boldly representational.

I started my clay adventure at Appalachian State University in the mid 70's, moving on to Penland, NC where I met and worked with some remarkable artists and craftspeople. In the early 80's I moved backed to the Boone/Banner Elk area.

​
Robert Milnes resides in Asheville, NC where he re-established the Arbitrary Forms Studio after retiring as Dean of the College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas on August 31, 2014. His artworks have been included in over 175 exhibitions nationally.

KEN  SEDBERRY
​
Ken received his M.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI in 1977. He accepted a residency at The Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, Montana where he studied & taught until 1979. He moved to NC in 1981 where he designed & built his first studio and wood fired kiln.
